Driving classes are an important feature of the Germantown Charity Horse Show, from the elegant pleasure driving classes to the fast-paced, entertaining classes like barrel racing and scurry races.
Junior Working Pleasure Driving

Wednesday evening saw the Junior drivers performing in classic style. Natalie Hanisco and her diminutive Tinker Toy (aka Tiny) were the outstanding winners of the class. While all went well for most drivers, there was one obstinate pony that just didn’t want to cooperate – Glory Revival. All the pony had in mind was to leave the arena. Despite the difficulties, Adelaide Hooser and her adult companion were able to coax the recalcitrant pony to stay in the class and at least attempt to show at the designated gaits. It was a test of driver perseverance!
