For Saturday’s January 9th hunt at Erin House in middle Tennessee, Hillsboro Hounds’ members had the delight to hunt over a thin layer of snow. A winter storm had passed through parts of Tennessee on Friday, leaving snow on the ground for Saturday’s hunt. Several children joined the hunt, too: Rosie Voigt, daughter of member Virginia Voigt; Lilly and Jackson McMillan, grandchildren of member Mark McMillan.

Dana Burke wrote, “Jackson hunts often, and he just got clearance to ride again after suffering a broken arm. The broken arm was caused by his attempting a jump on a dirt bike, not a horse. His horse Chip jumps way better!  Virginia took them all car hunting with great fun, hot cocoa, candy and, according to the kids, seeing ‘15 coyotes!’ (For the record, it was two.)” It’s hard to have more fun than that!
