The Gambler’s Choice is a unique jumper class at the GCHS. Each fence carries a specific number of points according to difficulty, ranging from 30 to the Joker at 200 points. Competitors have an allotted time to jump as many fences and accumulate as many points as they can. After the time period is up, the rider has the opportunity to jump the Joker and gain another 200 points – or lose 200 points if the horse knocks a rail down. It is sponsored by the Harold Walker, Jr. family, as it was one of his favorite classes at the GCHS.

The 2015 winner was Vex Cassandra, ridden by Christian Heineking. Michael Tokaruk was second on Zento VDV. Audrey Muscari was third on Ricardo.
