The Tennessee Youth Rodeo Association held its August rodeo at the Marshall County Fairgrounds, Holly Springs, Miss., on August 14-15, 2021. Photographer Gary Cox traveled to Holly Springs on Saturday August 14 to capture the action.
The order of events was changed for this rodeo due to weather conditions. In the outdoor arena, events started at 2 p.m. with the rough stock events, followed by roping and chute dogging. The indoor arena events started after the outdoor events were completed, starting with barrel racing, moving to goat tying, and finishing with pole bending.
