West Tennessee Quarter Horse Association (WTQHA) held its first show of the year on April 8-11, 2021 at the Miller Coliseum in Murfreesboro, Tenn. The show offered dual points with Tennessee Quarter Horse Association (TQHA) and had six judges: Bennie Sargent, Clark Scoggin, Brad Gibby, Dolly Chayer, Carolyn Johnson, and Kathleen Zelnio. Exhibitors had the option of an AQHA Flat Fee of $300/horse for all AQHA class fees.
Thursday’s classes included Trail, Hunter, Equitation, Ranch Riding, and Reining.
Friday’s classes continued with Hunters, followed by Western Riding and Western Pleasure. Following Western Pleasure were the Horsemanship classes and more Trail classes.
Saturday’s show started with Showmanship followed by a wide variety of Halter classes. Hunters continued, followed by more Ranch Riding and Reining.
Cowboy Church started the show on Sunday morning, followed by performance classes continuing with Hunters, Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, and finishing with Western Riding.
Coming up July 22-25, 2021 the TCB Circuit comes to Memphis, Tenn. with six judges and points awarded to WTQHA, Alabama QHA, and Mid-South QHA members.
