Tennessee Cowgirl Crowned Miss Mid-South Rodeo 2020

Southaven, MS. Jan. 19, 2020 – Reagan Caen of Columbia, TN, has won the title of Miss Mid-South Rodeo Quern 2020 during a crowning ceremony at The Landers Center in Southaven, MS, as part of PRCA-sanctioned Rodeo of the Mid-South 2020.
Caen is a 17-year-old senior at Liberty Academy in Columbia, TN, with plans to become a professional makeup artist someday. She is the daughter of Morris and Wendy Caen.
In addition to riding her horse, Caen enjoys designing, embellishing and making clothing. She is particularly interested in special effects makeup techniques.
Other pageant winners include Teen Miss Mid-South Rodeo Alea Munoz, 15, of Millington , TN, who also won the Rodeo Ticket Sales Award; Junior Miss Mid-South Rodeo Rylee Lemley, 13, of Jonesboro, AR; and the Mid-South Rodeo Princess Adalyn Newton, 6, of Dresden, TN, who also won the overall horsemanship award.
All winners were awarded a tiara, trophy buckle, banner, flowers by Lynn Doyle Flowers, a custom bronc halter by Zion Tack, a gift certificate to Cowboy Corner in Southaven, MS, and a gift bag of handmade items. The winner of the Miss age division receives a scholarship award.
The pageant offered competition in five age levels, including the Miss division, ages 18-25, the Teen division ages 14-17, the Junior division, ages 10-13, the Princess division ages 6-9 and the Sweetheart division ages 3-6.
Contestants were judged in the categories of horsemanship, personality and appearance. The Miss contestants also took a written test about the host event, the Rodeo of the Mid-South.
Pageant winners will represent the sport of rodeo for one year, appearing at other rodeos, civic events, schools, parades, award programs, cook-offs, dances, banquets and similar activities.
