On Saturday March 27, 2021 the Hayseed Cowboy Church hosted the first event of its 2021 Rodeo Series in at the Chickasaw County Agricenter in Houston, Mississippi. Photographer Gary Cox dropped by to capture some of the action. The rodeo offered everything from on-foot events (for ages 1 to 4) to barrel racing, pole bending, goat tying, calf roping, ribbon roping (ages 9 to 18), team roping, chute dogging and steer riding (ages 9 to 13 and 14-18).
Hayseed plans additional rodeo events in this series for April 24, May 29, August 7, September 4, and October 2. The series rodeo finals will be held on November 13.
