The weekend of September 18-20, 2020 Cliff Goodrich hosted his 29th annual Fall Jackpot Calf Roping on Sunday, preceded by a day of roping clinics at his arena in Humboldt, TN. Junior Calf Roping Championship, a World Finals and Junior American Patriot qualifier, was on Friday September 18. Championship Boys and Girls Breakaway Roping was on Saturday night.
Cliff summarized the event: “We had a huge turnout! There were 110 kids from 11 different states at the Jr. World Finals roping. We had 20 kids at my school on Saturday and a large turnout on Sunday. We had 44 in the Open Roping on Sunday. Lane Webb won the Young Guns match, and Todd Gould was the Open Match Champion.” Cliff’s wife Julie said, “Fun weekend of roping! We’re blessed to do what we love with lots of friends. Thanks to all who helped make it a success.”
Chism Goodrich was the 12 and Under Breakaway Champion, as well as the 12 and Under and 15 and Under Tie Down Champion. Sara Burks was the Open Breakaway Champion.
