The Volunteer State Pinto Organization held their Smokey Mountain Sweepstakes show on August 15-16, 2020 at Roane State Community College in Harriman, TN. The two-day show included Paints, Pintos, and Appaloosas with APHA, PtHA, and ApHC sanctioned classes. There were also some Donkeys and Minis at the show. There were 75 horses entered in the show, with some coming from as far away as Texas. Total entries for the two days were 769. Judges for Saturday were Sandy Curl (FL) and Jan Larsen (MT); judges for Sunday were Jill Paxton (IA) and Kevin Hood (CO). Rhonda Leach was the official photographer for the show. Sweepstakes classes included All Breed Hunt Seat, All Breed Western Pleasure with $750 added, and All Breed Trail with $1,000 added. Trail winner was Ellen Jumper. Hunter Under Saddle winner was Taylor Pearson, and Western Pleasure winner was Jeremy Price.
