The love of horses may start at a very early age, as captured in these photos of Lauren Hopper, now age 3 years old (Nov 6). [photos were taken last fall when she was 2 years, 11 months old] Lauren demonstrates her love and devotion to her horse, “Sunni” in preparing for a trail ride. Lauren is the daughter of Erin and Trevor Hopper of Hollow Rock, TN, has been riding for a couple of months. Lauren doesn’t seem to mind the chores that go with riding, and she can hardly wait until she can saddle “Sunni” all by herself! “What a great attitude!” said Sandy Lemmons. The saddle is, now, bigger than she is.
“I get so excited when the very young show promise with horses. Just way too cool!” said Lemmons. “This child is going to be a horsewoman – no doubt about it! Her mother Erin is really involved in horses and her grandmother was really involved in horses, too.”
“Sunni” is “Lenas Sunni Pep,” a retired barrel racing horse.
