On November 10-13, 2016, it was Harvest Time for the West Tennessee Hunter Jumper Association (WTHJA), hosting their last show of the 2016 series. Year end winners for the 2016 show season will be announced at the Awards Banquet, January 21, 2017 at the Hilton Memphis. Find more information about WTHJA at their website:

Sunday morning’s USHJA Hunter Derby attracted ten entries, with Ashley Hotz and Capisce taking top honors. Mary Ashley Bateman and Ultaire were second, and Olivia Yukon was third with Levonworth.
Ashley Hotz was one of the big winners at the show, taking two firsts on Coronado (593) in Performance Hunter 3’3”/3’6”. In Pre-Green Hunter, she was Champion with Capisce and Reserve with Shipshape. She also won the Hunter High Score Jackpot with Capisce (622).
Olivia Yukon and Levonworth were winners of the Jr./AO Hunter Classic, with Emma Prather taking second on Keep The Cash, and Mary Ashley Bateman third on Ultaire.
Yukon also won the ASPCA Maclay Medal class on Levonworth (560), with Shea Taylor Reserve on Charisma (570). Olivia and Levonworth (560) were also Champions in the Pessoa/U.S. Medal class. Mia Bozof and Dicaprio (295) were second, and Isabella Baldock and Coronado (593) were third. Shea Taylor was fourth with Charisma (570).
Division winners in the Jr/AO Hunter ages & sizes combined were: First: Olivia Yukon and Levonworth; Isabel Dlabach and Ilario. Second: Mia Bozof and Dicaprio; Kelly Byrne and SLF Riviera.
Emma Rupinski was Champion Green Pony Hunter and Champion Small Pony Hunter with Pocketful of Sunshine. Jordan Ricketts was Champion Large Pony Hunter with Teadoro.
Carita Palmer was Champion Adult Amateur Hunter on Grey Goose, with the Reserve title going to Cheryl Rubenstein and Riesling.
Shanna Beyer did well with her two jumpers, taking two firsts on Free to Fly II in the 1.0m Jumper and two firsts on Invictus in the 1.10m Jumper and the 1.20-1.30m Jumper.
Mary Grayson Fauser and Allison Rayburn’s Captivate cleaned up in Children’s Hunter 15-17 with four firsts and a second in the O/F stake. Fauser also won the WTHJA Pony Jumper on Rayburn’s Illuminate with three firsts; and won the WIHS/NAL Children’s Hunter Classic with Captivate.
Grace Klein was very busy in the 1.10m Jumper, with firsts on Madonna and Nabuco; seconds on Luminous and Madonna. In Child/Adult Jumper, she had firsts with Madonna, and a first and second on Piper, plus a first and second on Piper in the 1.15m Classic/Final Qualifier. In the WIHS/NAL Child/Adult Jumper classic, she was first with Luminous, second with Nabuco, and third with Piper.
Annie Miller won the David Q. Wright Equitation Classic on Déjà Vu.
