The Mid-South Quarter Horse Breeders held their annual Futurity at the Show Place Arena in Memphis, TN October 29-30, 2016. The organization offered a full schedule of AQHA classes for mid-south Quarter Horse breeders to show off their eligible horses, both days starting at 8:00 a.m. Judges on Saturday were Gary and Tammy Reynolds of Texas and, on Sunday, Dan Williams from Illinois.
The Mid-South Quarter Horse Breeders Futurity (MSQHBF) is one of the largest shows in the Memphis/Shelby County area that offers a full AQHA program, including Open, Amateur, Novice Amateur, Youth and Novice Youth classes, plus 17 halter and performance classes. Many area mare owners continue to breed to MSQHBF stallions, producing new stock to be exhibited each year.
