Thursday night saw the first in a series of English Trail Pleasure Walking Horses for Amateur Riders. Dale Steinmetz and his Confederate Jazz won the blue ribbon, but, Jessica Parsons, riding Vindictive Color, could have won the prize for the prettiest competitor in the ring. She placed second. In Saturday night’s English Trail Pleasure Championship, Amateur or Youth Riders, once again Dale Steinmentz won with Confederate Jazz and Jessica Parsons was second with Vindictive Color.
In the Trail Pleasure Junior Walking Horses 5 and Under, Jessica Hlebak won with Jazz Line. Jared Carrier was second with La La Bamba. Zach Parsons showed Allen’s Bossy Lady for third.
Maggie Moore won the Trail Pleasure Walking Horses, Amateur Riders, English or Western, with Ferdinand. Then it was Zach Parsons in first on Caterpillar in the Lite Shod Walking Horses.
With pleasure Walking Horses, it is said one can ride all day and not get tired. In the All Day Pleasure Horses, Maggie Moore was the winner on Pantera. Brady Bachert was second with Buy Me A Boat. But Brady was back on Saturday night to win the All Day Pleasure Horse, Youth Riders 17 & Under with Buy Me A Boat.
In the Country Pleasure Walking Horses, Open, English or Western, Zach Parsons took the blue ribbon with JJ’s Red Bull for owners, the Jason Bachert family. In Thursday’s Trail Pleasure Walking Horse, Amateur Owned and Trained, English or Western, Maggie Moore took top honors with Ferdinand. Brady Bachert was second with High Tide Surfin. Maggie came back to win the English Country Pleasure Walking Horse, Amateur Riders, with Roan Ranger. Jessic Hlebak was second with Mister JFK.
A little different king of driving was the Pleasure Driving Walking Horses class. This time, it was Zach Parsons driving Zack’s Pride of Allen the winner, for owners Lee and Linda Ritter.
On Friday night, Jazz Line was again the Trail Pleasure Junior Walking Horses 5 and Under, Amateur Riders winner, this time with Linda Sisk riding. Harold Roberts was second with La La Bamba.
In Saturday night’s Western Trail Pleasure Championship, Amateur or Youth Riders, Andy Stooksberry blew away the competition on Blown Away. Linda Sisk was reserve with Jazz Line and Harold Roberts was third with La La Bamba.
In other Saturday night championship classes, Brady Bachert was champion on JJ’s Red Bull in the Flat Shod Walking Horse Championship, Youth Riders 17 & Under, and was All Day Pleasure Horse Champion on Buy Me A Boat.
