Somebody’s going to win a new two-horse trailer! That was the promise from JX2 Productions for the Smoky Mountain Showdown in Morristown, TN on June 11-12, 2016. There were also 4 Cactus Saddles, 10 Maynard Buckles, JX2 Tack Shack vouchers, and Lots of Cash to be won by team roping competitors in east Tennessee. There were some new twists on the usual team roping categories, too. There was the #11 Slide Warm-up, the #10 Cool Down, and the #8 Carroll Original Wear Rope for the Trailer. The high point roper won a brand new Adam’s two- horse aluminum trailer.
Winner of the Trailer was Kacy Cronan. Winners of the #8 Priefert World Series of Team Roping (WSTR) Qualifier were Morgan Holmes and Dave Bennett. Dave Lewis and Greg Mitchell won the #9 WTSR Qualifier. Dory Lund and Cory Honeycutt won the #11 WSTR Qualifier. Ryan Lee and Colby Herman won the #12 WSTR Qualifier. Billy Lam and David Gaddis won the #13 WSTR Qualifier.
