For the second year, Woodstock Cuba Saddle Club (WCSC) held a Royalty show for their Queen and Princess contestants, while members elected the Buckaroo Princess. 

WCSC Members saw the largest turn out in several years for the Buckaroo Princess, as eight girls (all age 8 & under) tried out at the annual  Membership Drive on March 5,2016. Members voted Kaylee Wooten as the 2016 Buckaroo Princess.

The Royalty Show was held April 10, 2016 with four girls competing for the title of Princess and five girls competing for the title of Queen.  They were judged on a horsemanship pattern, followed by a horsemanship interview, then a one on one interview with the judges. They were scored on personality and appearance. They finished the show with a test on the WCSC Rule Book and knowledge of parts of the saddle and the horseThe judges were former Miss Rodeo VA and Miss TN HS Rodeo Queen  Tricia Satkowski and SusanHudgins, mother of Former Miss Rodeo TN Nacona Allen Clowes. The winners were Alea Munoz, 2016 Princess and Taylor Cohen, 2016 Queen.

2016 Queen Taylor Cohen
Taylor Elise Cohen, daughter of Ashley Leach of Millington, TN is a 14-year-old 8th grader at E.E Jeter Middle School. Her main interest has always been horses, but recently she started playing softball. Her future plans are to become a neurosurgeon. She has been riding at Woodstock Cuba Saddle Club since age 5. This show season she will carry the American Flag at shows, as well as compete in speed events on her horse SF Give Me A Break (Kit Kat).

2016 Princess Alea Munoz
Alea Maria Munoz, daughter of Flo Robison Munoz of Millington, TN and Memo Munoz of Memphis, TN, is an 11-year-old 6th grader at Millington Middle School. Her hobbies and interests, other than horseback riding, include soccer, swimming, dance, art, and reading. She is also actively involved in the Woodstock’s Ghost Riders 4-H Horse Program.  She loves to play with her puppy Macey, with her friends at the saddle club, and show her pony Diamond in the pony classes - horsemanship, walk/ trot, flags, barrels, speed, and poles.  Alea was the 2014 and 2015 All-Around Pony Champion, the 2012 Buckaroo Princess and 2013 WCSC Princess. 

2016 Buckaroo Princess Kaylee Wooten
Kaylee Michelle Wooten is the daughter of Aaron and Kasey Wooten of Millington, TN. She attends Lighthouse Christian Academy and will start kindergarten this fall at E.E. Jeter Elementary. Kaylee loves horses. When she is not playing her Skylander games, she is riding and spending time with her horse Swirl. Kaylee has been riding on her own since she was three. She is the 2015 Lead-In Champion and the 2014 Reserve Lead-In Champion.
