Feathered horses made their debut at this year’s Germantown Charity Horse Show, shown at liberty, in hand, under Western and English saddle, and driven.

D’Jango Jazz, shown by Wendy Snyder and owned by Moketes Village LLC won the Feathered Halter Stallions on Tuesday night.

Bobby Richards, showing King Solomon, won the Feathered Halter 2-yo & under and Feathered Halter Stallions, 14h & under, for owners June Villa and Taylor Hanes. June Villa’s Pink Panther was second in the Halter Stallions 14h & under.

In Wednesday evening’s Open Western Pleasure, Walk/Jog, D’Jango Jazz, Wendy Snyder riding, won the class. Second was SC Icee Blue Babe of PPGV, shown by Taylor Hanes for Judity Anne Mitchell. Third went to Donnough of Roscreigh, shown by Kolten Frenzl for Jennifer & Paul Godward.

D’Jango Jazz won the Open Feathered Horse Halter Championship, shown by Wendy Snyder. Karen Whitford’s Splish Splash of Lexlin, Taylor Hanes showing, was second. King Solomon, shown by Chuck Hanes, was third. Kolten Frenzl showed Taylor Hanes’ All Jacked Up for fourth.

D’Jango Jazz won the Feathered Horse Dressage Suitability, walk/trot class with Ashley Sarkozi, as well as the Open English walk/trot on Thursday night.

Friday night’s Liberty Class saw Feathered Horses going “at liberty” around the arena was won by June Villa’s Pink Panther. D’Jango Jazz was second and All Jacked Up was third.

In Friday night’s Open Western Pleasure Championship, walk/trot, D’Jango Jazz, shown by Wendy Snyder, won again the blue ribbon. SC Icee Blue Babe of PPGV took home the red ribbon.

In the Color Class, Judith Anne Mitchell’s blue roan, SC Icee Blue Babe of PPGV was the winner, shown by Taylor Hanes. Kolten Frenzl showed Karen Whitford’s Splish Splash of Lexlin to second. And Paul Godward was third with Donnough of Roscreigh.

June Villa’s Pink Panther was tops in the Open Showmanship class, exhibited by Taylor Hanes. Kolten Frenzl was second with Splish Splash of Lexlin.
