The Deep South Region held its eventing rally March 30 – April 1 in Folsam, Louisiana at the beautiful Laginappe Equestrian Center. More than fifty pony clubbers competed and the Open division had a strong contingency as well.
Showcase Equestrian Center, LLC sent a team of D3s to compete: Hallie Rush, Samantha Mooneyham and Lauren Kloek, with stable manager Lauren Chandler. The team won the D3 riding portion, and had the lowest dressage score of 37.12! The team took 3rd place in horse management.
Tresie Wallace, owner of Showcase Equestrian Center, placed second in the Open division on her horse Evolution. Evolution finished with only his dressage score, going clear in stadium and cross country.
Next, the Showcase Equestrian Center team will participate in the Deep South Dressage Rally in Tupelo, Mississippi in May.
