Slated for April 20-22, Kimberlin Farms
Nashoba Carriage Association announces their upcoming clinic with Sterling Graburn April 20-22. The three-day clinic will be held at Kimberlin Farms in Olive Branch, MS. Sterling is a nationally recognized trainer of sport horses, having won championships at Dressage at Devon and USDF and USEF Horse of the Year awards. His driving career began in 1977 and since then, his talents have brought him to top levels in Pleasure and Combined Driving. In February 2012 the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) announced that Team Sterling – driver Sterling Graburn and his horse Ulano, a Dutch Harness horse owned by Larry Denny – are longlisted for a spot on the U.S. Combined Driving Team at the FEI World Singles Driving Championships 2012, to be held in Lezirias, Portugal Sept. 12-16.
Nashoba Carriage Association President, Bob Martin explained the news, “Since Sterling has been recently longlisted for the World Champion Single Horse Championships, he has to be very efficient with his time management. Therefore, Nashoba is proud to join ‘Team Sterling’ in fundraising efforts during the clinic.”
Nashoba will be charging a fee of $30.00 to attend a dinner and lecture with Sterling on Saturday, April 21st. His lecture topic will be, “What it takes to get to the World level.” There will also be a $20.00 audit fee to attend the clinic. Non-members of Nashoba are invited to join the clinic, dinner or to audit. There are several good time slots still available.

Sterling competes in Pleasure and Combined Driving, with singles, pairs, tandems, unicorns, and four-in-hands. Sterling is currently the head trainer at the Gayla Driving Center in Georgetown, KY.
