Wellington, FL - February 24, 2012 - Jason Canton dominated the Global Dressage Festival National 1 Horse Show, which took place February 21-23, at the Stadium show grounds of the Global Dressage Festival.  Canton and his four-year-old Oldenburg Stallion, Surpremat OLD, captured the high scores two of the three days.  The pair earned an impressive 80.714% in the USEF Training Level Test 2 - Open on Wednesday and 75.417% in the USEF Training Level, Test 1-Open class on Thursday.

The opening day of the Global Dressage Festival National 1 Horse Show belonged to Kimberly Herslow.  The Stockton, NJ resident took top honors with the highest score riding Rosmarin on Tuesday.  Herslow and her Hanoverian gelding, owned in partnership with Robert and Lisa Fritschy, scored 72.561% in the Third Level Test 2 - Open class.  Herslow feels that the best is yet to come for her horse that is turning seven-years-old this year.
"I am sure that he will be going to the Grand Prix level," said Herslow. "He is a very special horse with lots of potential."
Kim found "Reno," as he is affectionately called, in Germany as a three-year-old and she has been training him ever since at her Upper Creek Farm in NJ.

The following day Canton wowed the judges in the USEF Training Level Test 2 - Open scoring 80.714% with only a week's preparation in Florida.  He had just gotten Supremat OLD out of quarantine the week before.
Canton and Supremat OLD also owned the final day of the Global Dressage Festival National 1 Horse Show achieving the highest score on Thursday in the USEF Training Level, Test 1-Open class receiving a 75.417%.
Canton did not have much time to enjoy Florida.  Immediately after the show he headed down to the Lone Star State with his new charge to work at Shoofly Farm where he will be training.

Herslow was a close second for high score on Thursday with 74.872% in the USEF Third Level Test 3-Open class once again on Rosmarin.  Alix Szepesi and William improved on their Wednesday score of 70.517% in the USEF First Level Test 1-Open class to finish with 71.724% on Thursday.
