Dana Shah Bishop and Daniel Bishop hosted a Warmbloods Inspection and seminar at their farm Blues City Warmbloods in Moscow, TN on October 29. Every year the American Warmblood Society (AWS) offers a full inspection tour for their Performance Sport Horse/Breed Registry, and the Bishops hosted one of only two Inspections in the mid-south area (the other was in Mt. Pleasant, TN in September). The Inspection is a popular way to satisfy the performance requirement for American Warmbloods. They give valuable insight into your horse’s individual gaits and conformation from an objective judge. Plus, this is the only way to achieve studbook ranking for your stallion to be Certified, Red preferred, Blue Preferred, or Supreme.
Eleven horses were inspected, four of which belong to the Bishops and several are out of their Friesian stallion Onassis, an Approved Blue Preferred AWS & Friesian Sport-Horse. The horses with BCW (Blues City Warmbloods) in front of their name are by Onassis. All of these horses scored in the low to high 70's, but only three received Blue Preferent: Onassis, BCW Coco Chanel & RoseHill AlwaysaLady.
