“Sleigh bells ring, are you listening? In the lane snow is glistening…”
Well, hopefully, no snow in downtown Memphis, TN on December 11 as Nashoba Carriage Association members meet for the third annual Harbortown Christmas Drive. President Bob Martin will lead the parade driving his Friesian pair, complete with sleigh bells ringing.
Last year, Nashsoba members brought ten carriages and braved 30-degree weather to drive, all decked out for Christmas, through the streets of Harbortown. Horse trailers filled the parking area at the end of Harbortown Drive as members, grooms, and riders hitched up to wind through the streets to the delight of neighborhood residents.
