Rodeos of the Mid-South attracted some of the top cowboys and cowgirls Circle Cross Rodeo Circle Cross Ministries held its “Rodeo With a Purpose” on September 11, 2010, in conjunction with the Goat Days Festival in Millington, TN. The well-organized, well-attended event, with 70 entries, attracted some of the Mid-South’s top cowboys and cowgirls to compete in roping, reining, barrel racing, and bull riding. There were plenty of laughs from Jeff Cupp, the father and son Rodeo Clown team, especially when they demonstrated the latest Farmtown Hoedown dance moves, like the “lawnmower,” the “hedge trimmer,” and the “post hole digger.” Dad was shown-up time after time by his son, who danced circles around him. A portion of the proceeds from the rodeo benefitted the Living Waters for the World ministry, which provides clean, sustainable water to communities in need.
