The Tipton County 4-H Celebrate at pool party The Tipton County 4-H members celebrated their success at the Western District 4H show in Martin, TN and the State 4H show in Shelbyville, TN with a pool party August 22. They participated in many diverse horse disciplines including western riding, speed events, English equitation, jumping, halter and showmanship. To start the new year of 4-H, they will be trail riding on Sept. 12th. Other activities during the year will be practicing for the hippology Horse Bowl and Horse Judging competitions, field trips to horse facilities in the area, and working on improving their riding and showing skills. The emphasis is on natural horsemanship, sportsmanship, and improving their relationship with horses.
