Mississippi Horse Wins Appaloosa Cutting Futurity In Fort Worth, Texas Cindy and Art Bostick of Coldwater, Mississippi are the proud owners of the winner of the 2007 Appaloosa Cutting Horse Association Futurity. PA FROST ON MY ACRE, a three year old filly won the futurity during the 2007 World Championship Appaloosa  Show held in Fort Worth, Texas the last week of October. Trainer Dale Robbins of Opeldika, Alabama and the filly marked a 218 to win the first go round and a  212 in the finals to cinch the title.  The filly was sired by PEPONITAS  ACRE owned by Lee Garner of Batesville, Miss. The dam is REBPTS CASSIOPIA  out of PALO BUDDY. Cindy bought the dam, now 14, from Vicki Duffy, formerly of Somerville, Tenn. was a long yearling. The filly performed well at the Southern Cutting Futurity in Jackson, Miss. held a week before the Appaloosa Futurity.  " She came together at the Southern," reported Cindy on the performance which scored a 212 in the first round of the open futurity and a 201 in the second go. Art currently shows SUNSETS N COMO at weekend cuttings. The couple operate ABCHalters.com, which offers  customized equine accessories including blankets, fleece coolers and leather bronc halters. They started the business ten years ago and primarily cater to the cutters including going to at least four major  NCHA produced shows  each year. During the fall and winter they are on the road much of the time.
