Mustang Champions was proud to partner with the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo in producing the 2024 Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo $100,000 Mustang Magic weekend. The Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo Mustang Magic weekend took place January 18-20, 2024.
The three-day event included two showcase performances in the historic Will Rogers Coliseum. The Friday night Mustang Champions Freestyle event featured top mustang trainers from across the country competing for $50,000 in cash and prizes. And the Saturday night FWSSR Mustang Magic Top 10 Finals showcased the 10 top scoring Mustang Magic competitors from the weekend who competed in a freestyle format for $50,000 in cash and prizes. The mustangs that competed in the three-day Mustang Magic competition went up for public auction immediately following the Saturday night Top 10 Finals. The annual event showcases the abilities and skills of the American Mustang as a champion or companion.
“Mustang Magic has been a part of the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo for years, with a dynamic following that regularly sells out the Will Rogers Coliseum. We are very excited to be working with the FWSSR to produce the event and highlight how special the American Mustang is” said Matt Manroe, Executive Director of Mustang Champions.
“Highlighting the versatility of the American Mustang for 14 years is a strong source of pride for the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo,” said Horse Show Director, Lauren Lovelace Murray. “New opportunities with Mustang Champions will take these efforts to new and exciting heights in 2024.”

3rd: Matt Zimmerman and Lil Bitty
4th: Craig Moore and Black Widow
5th: Jessica Flaherty and Waffles
6th: Elisa Wallace and Dior
7th: Betsy Moles Fajen and She’s Nothing Fancy
8th: Gavin Huffman and GH Fluttershy
9th: Christa Smith and CC Kohana Cascade
10th: Levi Beechy and Midnight Belle
