Eligibility Requirements
Equestrian Diversity and Inclusion Impact Awards recognizes and honors equine companies and individuals (businessmen and women, athletes, professionals, trainers, and amateurs) who have shown an exceptional commitment to promoting practices that advance diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in equestrian communities and in the sport.
We are seeking organizations and individuals who demonstrate best practices in diversifying the equestrian community; transforming in barn and competition cultures; develop innovative or equitable programs promoting diversity in the equestrian community; advocate for policy changes; bridge cultural divides; practice thought leadership and discuss the lack of diversity and equity within the sport and how to change that divide; innovate in inclusion by making the sport more accessible to non-traditional social classes.
Nominations are open until January 31, 2024. Honorees will be selected by a panel of judges and the honorees will be notified by February 9, 2024. We will recognize all honorees in the March Special Issue in 2024.
