Old West Special Trails hosted a Halloween-costume dominated fall show on November 6, 2021. The show had originally been scheduled for October 30, but had to be postponed because of the wet arena.
There were plenty of innovative horse and rider costumes, including a pony dressed as an elephant, and one emulating Equine Guelph with the horse’s skeletal structure painted on the outside of the horse.
The Junior Trick Riding Team demonstrated their acrobatics on horseback, and there were games to play, such as the bucket race, trotting game, and corn hole toss (from horseback).
There was also a Silent Auction of a wide variety of items from a Troxel helmet to art work, gift baskets, fall decorations, and a Horse-opoly game.
