Adam Sklansky and Ellen Walker’s Hakini faced some tough competition in Wednesday evening’s 1.40m Welcome Stake at the Germantown Charity Horse Show. But the few clear rounds and his fastest time in the jump-off  gave him the win over the field of nine.

Louise Graves had the second fastest time in the jump-off to earn the red ribbon on VDL Glitter Van De Kalevalei. Michael Tokaruk, hedging his bets with three horses in the class, came out in third on Cupid Shuffle, fourth on Quality Iris, and seventh on My Lord Castanoo. That left a little room for Evie Jaeckle to grab fifth on TJC’s Kygo and eighth with Clochard. In between was Shanna Beyer in sixth place on Invictus.
