Tennessee Valley Hunt held its 32nd annual Opening Meet and Blessing of the Hounds at Blackberry Ridge Farm in Greenville, Tennessee on October 17, 2020, with hosts Dr. Tracy and Debbie Dobbs. Reverend Greg Cartwright officiated the blessing. After the blessing, Huntsman Ryan Johnsey, MFH took 15 ½ couple to the covert, where they showed diligent work for the field. The weather “turned out to be a warm blue bird day,” commented Johnsey. After the hunt, the field gathered for a socially distanced meal and caught up on last season’s awards. Ingelein Smith Myers was awarded her colors. Masters Ryan Broyles, MFH and Ryan Johnsey, MFH officiated at the event.
