On Sunday February 16, 2020 The Jaeckle Centre (TJC) in Thompson’s Station, Tennessee hosted the IEA Zone 4 Regional 12 Hunt Seat Finals show. TJC High School Team was Champion with a clean sweep winning every class and moving on to Zone 4 Finals in Rainsville, AL. TJC also had two individual riders qualify: Fallon McGrory will compete in JV Beginner WTC and Maddy Freiberg in Future Intermediate Over Fences.
Second place in the High School division went to Memphis Youth Equestrian Team at Meadowthorpe Farm. Riders on the team are Kayla Benson, Clara Hickerson, Audrey Moll, and Vivian Smith.
In the Middle School division, the Memphis Youth Equestrian Team at Meadowthorpe Farm placed first. Members of this team are Sofie Herbstrith, Mimi Hickerson, Lilly Misciskia, and Mallory Phillips.
The CF Topflight team was second with riders Chloe Atkins, Madelyn MacLarren, and Emma Millican. The Jaeckle Centre team was third with riders Lauren Briggs, Maddy Freiberg, Lauren Hollis, and Lia Van Jaarsveld. Fourth was Hunters Edge Stables with riders Samantha Bisignano, Allison Gill, and Emmalee Lentile.
In individual High School Rider slots, Jordan Martin on Team Need A Hand earned a first. Clara Hickerson and Audrey Moll on the Memphis Youth Equestrian Team at Meadowthorpe earned firsts. And on the CF Topflight team, Courtney McGill and Kennedy Newton earned firsts.
In the individual Middle School Rider slots, Alexandra Riopelle on the Sycamore Hills team earned a first. On the Lucky Fox Farm team, Sophi Pierce earned a first. And on the CF Topflight team, Chloe Atkins, Madelyn MacLarren, and Emma Millican earned firsts.
At Winterview Farm, Patti Wright-Shoemaker says, “We have three Middle School riders who have qualified for Hunt Seat Zone Finals from Jackson Academy IEA Team (Madison, MS). They are Alex Guild, Reese McMichael and Ellen Morgan. We have one High School Student from the Winterview Farm IEA Team (Flora, MS) qualified for Zone Finals. She is Reese Lyle.” Their Zone 4 Finals are in Rainsville, Alabama March 14-15, 2020.
