Memphis, TN – Reagan Caen from Columbia, TN, was named Miss St. Jude Memphis Stampede 2019 in a crowning ceremony at the First Annual St. Jude Memphis Stampede on July 6, 2019. She is a 17-year-old senior at Liberty Academy.

The title of Teen Miss St. Jude Memphis Stampede 2019 was earned by 15-year-old Millington resident Alea Munoz, a sophomore at Millington Central High School.

And, the very first Jr Miss St. Jude Memphis Stampede 2019 is Caroline Wilson, a 13-year-old resident of Athens, AL. She is an eight-grader at Athens Bible School.

Memphis’ newest professional rodeo flung open the gate on a new fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, located in downtown Memphis, TN, on July 5-6, 2019.  The St. Jude Memphis Stampede attracted cowboys and cowgirls from across the country to compete at this inaugural event, held at Cook’s Lake 4249 N. Watkins Rd in north Memphis. In addition, the new rodeo offered a queen pageant for three age groups: Miss, Teen, and Junior contestants.

The pageant competition consisted of horsemanship judging, public speaking, personal interview, personality and appearance.

Also, there were peripheral contests such as Best Photo Award, which was awarded to Alea Munoz; Highest Rodeo Ticket Sales Award, which was won by Reagan Caen; an administrative award called The Pageant Coordinator’s Award, which was won by Reagan Caen and The Highest Auction Item Sales Award, which was earned by Caroline Wilson.

The new rodeo royalty will spend a year promoting the 2020 St. Jude Memphis Stampede, which is scheduled for July 4 -5, 2020.

Pageant sponsors included Big Creek Animal Hospital in Millington, TN, Norman’s Body Shop in Millington, TN, Trena Street of Collierville, and Sue Lynn Perry of Millington.
