Cedar Knob Hounds held its Opening Meet and Blessing of the Hounds on November 18, 2018 at the Menefee Farm near Lynnville, Tennessee. Thirty eight riders gathered to hunt the middle Tennessee hills, led by MFH Rob Caldwell and Huntsman Clare Pinney. Theresa Menefee was introduced as the new Master of Foxhounds for Cedar Knob.  She follows in the “hoof prints” of her late husband, Albert Menefee, III, MFH, who was the founder and original Huntsman for Cedar Knob Hounds. A very moving tribute was given to Albert at the Blessing. Every rider was made aware of Albert’s generosity and dedication to the sport of foxhunting. Albert passed away September 3, 2018.
Cedar Knob is a private foxhunting club located in Giles County, Tennessee.
