PHBA awards more than $100,000 in cash and prizes to equine athletes from all over the United States, Mexico and Canada.
The first week of the show, July 8-11, is solely devoted to young exhibitors – the PHBA Youth World Championship Show. The Youth World Championship Horse Show is the beginning of PHBA’s international activities. Awarding multiple sets of national points, the event allows the youth to compete in a non-qualifying show. Young riders, under the age of 18, exhibit in hunt seat classes, barrel racing, poles, horsemanship and showmanship classes, lead line, western pleasure, reining, ranch riding, and trail classes. There’s even a stick horse class for the youngest soon-to-be riders.
