Hernando - Lim Couch, 75, world renowned horseshoer passed away June 13, 2014. He was the co-owner of MidSouth Farrier Supplies and former owner of Briarwood Stables and Midsouth Horseshoeing Academy. Lim was inducted into the International Horseshoeing Hall of Fame in 2005 and was past president of American Farriers Association. He was preceded in death by his parents, Limuel Earl Couch Sr and Verna Lee Hall and brother, Robert Paige Couch. Lim is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Couch of Hernando, daughters, Susan Couch (Bubba) of Hernando, Robin Couch Donovan (Dan) of Jupiter, FL and Lisa Couch of Memphis, sister, Wanda Couch Wilkes of Olive Branch, grandchildren, Dalton Nutting of Hernando, Sydni and Chance Donovan of Jupiter, FL and his beloved sidekicks, Ethel and Duncan. The service was Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Hernando Funeral Home. Interment was in Bakers Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Baptist Trinity Hospice House Collierville or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
