The Blue Creek Arena Winter Buckle Series Finals were held on Sunday afternoon March 4, having been postponed from Friday night because of threatening storms and tornados across the state.
The show started with the Peewee class, which is always full of excitement. The Peewee champion this year was Jaci Baker, who also won the Youth 3-D.
This year's Youth 1-D winner was Kelsey Lane.
There was a tie for the Youth 2-D buckle between Harley Morgan and Makenzie Scherzinger, so they had a run off after the open to determine the winner. They are both great cowgirls and did a wonderful job, but Makenzie was able to get the faster time and win the 2-D buckle.
The Open 4-D winners were, in the 4th Division, Alison Cayton, 3-D Tonya Pewterbaugh, 2-D Sarah Proctor, and the Open 1-D winner was James White.
