The Southern Pro Bull Riding Finals was held at Hot Springs, AR September16-18. The top 20 bull riders from TN, MS, AR, MO, and LA competed at the finals, held at the Garland County Fairgrounds. Tennessee bull riders took home first, second & third place. Ernie Roberts' son, John Roberts was voted unanimously Bull Rider of the Year. Other Tennessee winners are: Cory Bailey of Paris, TN won first place in the first go and second overall average. Wesley Cryer of Shelbyville, TN was third in the overall average. Brent Menz, a former UT Martin Rodeo team member won first in overall average.
