Nashoba Carriage Classic Annual show in Germantown, TN On October 22- 24 the Nashoba Carriage Association will host its annual Nashoba Carriage Classic at the Germantown Charity Horse Show arena. The show includes an Arena Driving Trial (ADT) on Friday, a Pleasure Driving Show, and a Mimosa Marathon Drive. The Germantown Charity Horse Show organization will host the annual “Thrill on the Hill” Party prior to the start of Friday night’s excitement. The Saturday Pleasure Show will have a new challenge for drivers: “Super Reinsmanship.” The Super Reinsmanship class is a mixture of Dressage, Cones obstacles and Reinsmanship. On Sunday exhibitors will enjoy a drive through Germantown’s beautiful woods and grounds, ending with Mimosas. After everyone returns from their pleasure drive and mimosa beverages, they will enjoy a barbeque lunch and an awards ceremony. Drivers have been preparing for this annual show all year with a variety of clinics and lessons. Nashoba will has scheduled Bill Lower, a talented long-reining and driving master clinician, to give a clinic three days before the show. He will focus on teaching the drivers and the horses to bend properly, so the horses and drivers can perform to the best of their abilities in all areas of a driving competition: ADT, Cones Obstacles, Dressage, Reinsmanship and Pleasure Driving. The clinic is open to anyone interested.
