Annual Paso Fino Horse Association Grand National Show September 20-27 by Becky Henley The Grand National Championship Show for Paso Fino horses will be held at the Georgia Agricenter and Fairgrounds in Perry, Georgia, September 20 - 27. The theme for the 2009 show is “Espiritu Unificado: One Horse, One Goal, One Community.” This show features the very best of registered Paso Fino horses and mixes many cultures and people who share their love for the breed. Several new activities are planned during the show. The first is a Question and Answer Session with Davis Love III on Sunday, September 20 at 7 p.m. Mr. Love is a professional golfer, lifetime member of the PFHA. Auction items signed by Mr. Love will be sold, with three lucky bidders given an opportunity to play nine holes of golf with Mr. Love. The cost of this event is $25, and tickets will be available at the door or may be ordered by phone at 813-719-7777. Money raised from this event goes toward costs of a PFHA booth at the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Lexington, Kentucky. Another new event is an opportunity to sell your horses. Anyone interested in bringing a Paso Fino horse to sell at the Grand Nationals must make a request to Four Winds West for a stall indicating the horse as a sale horse.
