Gallery Showcases Equestrian Artist Mary Cour Burrows Artist Mary Cour Burrows has a show of equestrian-themed pieces on display during the month of June at Perry Nicole Fine Art. This collection is made up of horses in her life, including her own horse, her family’s and her friends’ horses. She employs a unique technique featuring a combination of graphite, oil stick and beeswax to create the work on birch panels. Burrows recently received a painting award from Art Horse Magazine and has a piece included in Eques Artes, an equestrian art book. Besides being an accomplished artist and muralist with works that have been displayed nationally, she is also an active competing equestrian. She recently won Adult Amateur Champion First level at the Sherree Levin dressage competition in Hernando, MS, and has qualified for American Eventing Championships.
