Run And Take The Money
At Agricenter Show Place Arena December 3-7

Everyone attending the 2008 Run for the Bucks and Champion of Champions barrel racing events at the Agricenter Show Place Arena December 3-7, 2008 saw some fast action that was rewarded by big bucks.
In the 2008 Pro Rider Futurity, Angie Meadors on “Boogie Woogie Acres” and Kassie Mowry on “LL Blind Faith” were close first and second place winners, averaging times of 31.943 and 31.993 respectively. Only 0.05 seconds apart!
In the Champion of Champions Open, Troy Crumrine and “Mulberry Canyon Moon” posted a lightening speed of 14.973 to win the $18,000 prize money. Nicole Ferell on “Its Gods Call” wasn’t slow either, winning the $10,000 second prize with a time of 15.03. Danyelle Campbell and “Repete Fame” had a time of 15.073 to win the $7,000 third prize. Maddie Little of Jud Little Ranch on “Buggin to Kill” won the $5,000 fourth prize with a time of 15.157. And Blaise Bergecay’s ride on “Red Man Bay” timed at 15.27 to earn the $2,000 fifth prize.
In the Champion of Champions, the big bucks went to Louis Fincher, riding “Larkin Six Express,” whose time of 15.417 won him $100,000. Kassie Mowry on “Grace Master” ran the barrels at 15.602, earning the $30,000 second prize. La Tricia Duke on “Three Carat Diamond” got the $20,000 third prize with a time of 15.638. Danyelle Campbell rode “Smoke N Aces” to fourth place and $15,000 with a time of 15.706. Lance Graves captured the fifth place $10,000 on “Chokolatte Fame” with a time of 15.717. And Kassie Mowry on “LL Blind Faith” posted a sixth place time of 15.728 for $5,000 prize money.
