WTQHBA Futurity Winners October 17-19, Martin TN West Tennessee Quarter Horse Breeders Futurity spokesperson Ellen Deming reported that this year’s Futurity entries reflected a nearly 100% increase over last year’s event, and that $19.172.50 was awarded in payouts. She said the growth was remarkable, given that many AQHA shows across the country have seen lower attendance, what with fuel costs being so high earlier this year. The Association added two new classes this year, and are discussing expanding even futher at next year’s event. “We’re very pleased with the number of entries this year,” she said.
