New Owners At Cherokee Trail Ride Located in Northern Alabama The Larry Hatfield family purchased the Cherokee Trail Ride facilities in North Alabama last year and are open for trail riding 365 days a year. Those in the photo include (left to right) Stephanie Hatfield, Billy Hatfield, Kay Hatfield, Larry Hatfield, David Hatfield and Cindi Hawes. The family relocated from South Florida and have been very happy with the family campground purchase. Kay reported their acceptance into the community has “been really good. It’s just beautiful up here.” Organized trail rides are held 14 weeks during the year. A youth camp will be held June 11-17. Rental horses and cabin reservation are by appointment only.
