Mississippi Ranch Horse Association hosts first show of the season

The Mississippi Ranch Horse Association (MRHA) is an official 501c3 charter organization of the American Ranch Horse Association.

The Mississippi Ranch Horse Association will kick off their 2023 events this Saturday, March 18, at the Calhoun Co. Agri-center in Pittsboro, Miss. The Mississippi Ranch Horse Association (MRHA) is an official 501c3 charter organization of the American Ranch Horse Association.  MRHA’s events will take place throughout several Mississippi locations including Calhoun Co. Agri-center in Pittsboro, Miss. on March 18 and April 22. A summer event at Marshall Co. Fairgrounds in Holly Springs, Miss., May 6, and a fall event at Montgomery Co. Coliseum in Winona, Miss., Nov. 11.

Mississippi Ranch Horse Association’s goal is to educate and promote the discipline of the versatile ranch horse in the Western tradition by organizing shows, clinics and other equine activities to improve both horse and rider. MRHA also endorses youth horsemanship by offering youth divisions at all shows. They strive to cultivate a positive atmosphere where both mutual respect for fellow equestrians and equine welfare are prioritized. Continuing to advance public awareness about the growing popularity of the versatile ranch horse is their overall objective.
