The Lucky Dog Races semi-trailer pulled into the Show Place Arena in Cordova, Tenn. for its third barrel race of the season, and first at the Show Place Arena, on May 5-8, 2022. The show drew 417 barrel racers from 27 states across the U.S. The show hosted one of six qualifying events for The Breeders Challenge, with Caleb Cline and SR Moonshine On The Rocks the Youth winner at this event (14.814).
There were 1,571 total runs in the Open 4D over the weekend, with 303 on Thursday, 483 on Friday, 431 on Saturday, and 354 on Sunday, Mother’s Day. All the Lucky Dog staff mothers received flowers on their special Mother’s Day. Randee Prindle and Red Man Jones turned in the fastest time of the weekend at 14.205.
