On April 17-18, 2021 team ropers gathered at the Longhorn R Arena in Tuscumbia, Alabama to rope and raise funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. It was definitely a success, with 1,414 teams entered in the competition. With the help of volunteers and support from numerous sponsors, the event will send $22,341.61 to St. Jude. Saturday’s divisions included #16, #14, #11 Ladies & Legends, and #12. On Sunday were the #10, #8, and #6 divisions. The High Point Roper of the #14 and #16 divisions received a certificate for a custom Lance Horner saddle. H4 saddles went to the High Point Roper of all other divisions. In addition, first place winners received Tres Rios buckles; second place won trophy coolers; and third place won trophy breast collars.
