Photographers Gary and Carol Cox traveled to Winona, Mississippi on Saturday January 23, 2021 for an afternoon of barrel racing – and to try out his new camera lens. The third race of the 5 Barrel Race Series was held at the Winona Coliseum. The show offered Little Buckaroo, Open 4D, and Youth divisions, along with Adult and Senior Side Pots. The show was produced by Get ‘Em Tight Productions.
In the Youth division, Caroline Flynt on Jep was the winner of the 1D (14.988). Megan Pickle on Max won the 2D (15.532).
In the Adult Side Pot, Caroline Crawford won first and second in the 1D: first on Harvey (15.342) and second on Nugget (15.557).
Kent Manor on Boogie took the top placing in Open 1D (14.985), with Caroline Flynt and Jep coming in second (14.988). Jaisey Pettigo on Junior was first in the 2D placings (15.501). And Kevin Manor was, again, first in 3D placings on his other horse Smoke (16.022).
