Social Distancing Barrel Race at Hernando, MS

Hernando Saddle Club hosted an Outdoor Social Distancing Barrel Race at its arena on Robertson Gin Road in Hernando, MS on May 23, 2020. The Open 4D barrel race offered $1,000 added money and all classes guaranteed a 75% payback.

Kindyl Scruggs and her horse Bull were first in Open 1D with a time of 15.300. Autumn Moore was first in Open 3D on Famously Streakin in a time of 16.310. And Kyndal Key was first in 4D with a time of 16.804.

In the Youth, Avery Wilburn and her horse Fly were first in 1D with a time of 15.823. Addison Davis was first in 2D on Keebler with a time of 16.846. Bella Pendio won the 3D with a time of 17.831.

In the Adult division, Kindyl Scruggs and Bull were first in 1D (15.300). Sherry Rhea and Denver won the 2D with a time of 16.359. Jax Johnson and Kelly were first in 3D with a time of 17.442.

There were three entries in Pee Wee, with Hanna Watson and Dutchess taking the win in 21.674 seconds. Layla Beth Nobles and Bully were second (22.960), and Lawson Stafford was third (23.423).

In Poles, Angie Dowell and Twister won first in the 1D with a time of 21.267. Lonnie McElyea and Johnny Brown won the 2D with a time of 22.334. Caleigh Green and JR won the 3D in a time of 23.688.
