Brownland Farm Fall II

The second half of the Brownland Fall series was September 11-15, 2019. This show also featured a $25,000 Grand Prix, which started at 8 a.m. Saturday morning. International Helmet Awareness Days were also this weekend September 14-15, so tack shops in the area offered discounts on the purchase of helmets.This show featured on Friday the 13th the Rotating Pair Relay class, benefitting Freedom Reigns Ranch.

Coming into the Fall II $25,000 Grand Prix, having placed second in the Fall I Grand Prix, Lauren Hester and her beautiful gray, Happy Feet B, had winning on their agenda. And win they did, besting the field of 22 entries! Tiffany Hammack and Crack Elle Chavannaise followed in second place, with Clark Montgomery and Sally Lehnhardt’s Culino TF rounding out the top three.

Another feature of the Fall II show was the $5,000 Brownland Farm Hunter Derby, which attracted 35 entries. Last to go were Kelly Mullen and Golden, who posted the highest score to win the eighth Derby in Brownland’s 2019 series. Mullen also took the second place prize on Cheryl Rubenstein’s Capisce. Michael Britt-Leon finished third with Private I. Michael and Private I were Green Hunter 3’6” division Champions.

The WASH/NAL Childrens Hunter Classic attracted 17 entries, with Isabel Dlabach and Ilario coming out on top.
Madison Keese bested a field of ten to take top honors in the Pony Hunter Classic aboard Swag.

Addison Bihm and Forever were Adult Amateur 18-35 Champions, and the pair also won the WASH/NAL Adult Hunter Classic.

Julie Curtin and Point Being were Green Hunter 3’9” High Performance Champions.

Amy Krebs won the Equitation 11 & Under Flat and Over Fences with Wynnbrook Polar Vortex.

Calder Trotz and Fate were Large Junior Hunter 3’3” Champions, as well as winners of the Junior Hunter Classic 3’3”.

Ella Trotz and As Ever won the Large Junior Hunter Classic 3’6” and were Large Junior Hunter 3’6” division Champions.
