ANAHEIM, Calif. – After an action-packed two days in front of record crowds in Anaheim, California, Cody Nance (Paris, Tennessee) collected his first PBR (Professional Bull Riders) elite series win since the 2014 season at The PBR 25th: Unleash The Beast, Anaheim Invitational, February 2-3, 2018.
Nance went 3-for-3 over the two days and clenched the victory with an 88.75-point ride on 2017 World Champion Bucking Bull SweetPro’s Bruiser (D&H Cattle Co/Buck Cattle Co.) on the final out of the night to win the championship round. With the win, the Tennessee cowboy earned 513.33 world points, launching him from No. 61 in the world to No. 9, and collecting a paycheck of $34,166.67.
“You know that bull is going to challenge you,” said Nance. “You ride him like any other bull, jump for jump. I tried hard, maintained my focus, and it worked out.”
