Guests gathered at Orrin and Lee Ann Ingram’s beautiful Riverview Farm in Franklin, TN on Saturday, September 10 for the 20th annual Chukkers for Charity polo match to raise funds for Rochelle Center and Saddle Up! The day’s event also included a vintage car show. This year’s “Emerald Anniversary” featured Wizard of Oz inspired décor in the Patron’s Tent and nearby tailgating area.
The polo match pitted the Nissan Autoweek home team against the Kentucky Mt. Billiant Polo team. Local favorite players on the Nissan team included Orrin Ingram, James Armstrong and Stevie Orthwein. The Kentucky Mt. Brilliant Polo team featured top polo player Santiago Chavanne, a 9-goal professional polo player from Argentina. The match ended with a Mt. Brilliant Polo 5-4 victory just as the rain rolled in to Riverview Farm. Despite the storm, the Patron’s Dinner was served and concluded with a rainbow, appropriately, somewhere over the polo field.
